Stopped in for the steak frites lunch special and wow, what a treat. The grass‑fed porterhouse was perfectly cooked – juicy, tender, and honestly one of the best steaks I’ve had in Melbourne. The truffle mash potatoes were fluffy and buttery , which was a dish to die for. The complimentary drink was a nice touch, making the whole experience feel extra welcoming. The ambience is spot on – dining with the city skyline as the backdrop really elevates the vibe. Service? Spectacular. Friendly, attentive, and made the whole lunch feel effortless. Overall: awesome steak, great value, and a setting that makes you want to linger. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

The steaks were a little overcooked and too tough but the fries were good and the truffle mashed potato wasn’t bad! But overall, the service was excellent which made our overall experience a 5/5 stars. Pat was very accomodating and attentive and she made our experience a 5/5 today! Big shout out to her & she defo deserves a raise!

I visited the restaurant on the 7th floor of the Voco Hotel and was genuinely impressed by the amazing food and wine. — especially for the price. The welcome drink, a glass of Taittinger Champagne, was such a lovely touch! The staff were all incredibly friendly, and the manager, who seemed to be working the hardest, was especially kind and attentive. This place is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Melbourne City. I’ll definitely be back for another delicious.

Great atmosphere. View is ok, but not particularly spectacular. Service was good. Staff were attentive. Food was pretty standard. More like pub fair with steaks over cooked. We were probably expecting a little bit of a higher standard to match the quality of the atmosphere in the venue. Good value lunch special though.

We went there for the $25 steak lunch deal (available from Tuesday-Saturday from 12-2pm). We opted to upgrade to the $35 porterhouse steak instead. The steak was well-seasoned, and smoky, both the red wine jus and the mushroom sauce were delicious. The only thing I noticed is that the $25 rump steak looked a bit bigger than the steaks we “upgraded” to, but that’s on us for not double-checking with them how many grams it is.

What a gem found in Timothy lane. We celebrated our anniversary dining there for a couple hours. The service was amazing , the cocktails delicious and staff really friendly. Make the effort find the venue and experience what we did ….. really worth it.

A very nice setting with a great view of the city. The staff was very attentive. Wines, by the glass were excellent. The menu was diverse leaning towards grill. My ribeye steak was very good.
